This fun card game was designed by Lawrence Shapiro, Ph.D., one of the country’s leading experts on teaching children self-control and other emotional, social, and behavioral skills. The three card “decks” help children see whether specific behaviors are good or bad ideas, teach children to see alternatives to problem behaviors, and give children the chance to practice controlling their bodies and voices through fun activities (e.g. “Close your eyes and stand on your tip-toes. Count how long you can stand still without moving.”) For kids ages 6-12.
This game will be most helpful when played with an adult and two or more children and when used to supplement a comprehensive behavior plan.
